When people are asked this kind of question, "Are you sure you are really saved?" Most people become upset and get annoyed, whereas this is supposed to be an introspective question, a question that will make all believers to examine themselves to see what they are actually doing. Since salvation is something that happens inside of you, and people cannot just tell when you are saved, it is necessary to check what you are doing most of the time as a child of God, because what you do is a clear indication of what is inside of you.
One of the easiest EVIDENCE of your salvation is, "Telling other people about the goodness of the Lord Jesus Christ and his saving power." Yes, once you touch a hot iron, it must burn your hand, thus you will know that the iron is hot. Somebody who had been saved cannot just keep it within him or herself. As soon as Jesus called Phillip and saved him, the Bible says in John 1:45, "Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph." And when Jesus met with the woman of Samaria at the well, we see in John 4:28-29 that, "The woman then left her water pot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men, Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did."
I know many people might not understand this, but when you are really saved, you will certainly have the urge to tell others about the goodness of the Lord Jesus. Sure, you have found a good thing, and you'll like others to experience the same good thing you have found. That is why Jesus gave us the Great Commission in Matthew 28:18-20, "Go ye therefore into all nations, Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen." And he also said in Mark 16:15, "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." Certainly, Jesus did not call closet Christians, those who will remain in their closets all the time without saying anything. Yes, he saved you, so that through you, he could save others.
If you are thinking of how to start sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, You can start from here.
One good thing the Lord is doing now is to give his people several opportunities to be able to do his will. And that is why he brought you into this group. He knows that many people will find it difficult to go out as he said, but at least, they can put their fingers on the keyboard of their computers. So now, you as a believer cannot have any more excuse not to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Remember, Jesus said in Matthew 7:21, "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven." Certainly, Jesus is coming back very soon, and when he comes, you cannot tell him you were very busy, that's why you did not share his word. You can start today by inviting people into this group. Who knows whether someone whom you invited will be the one who will hear or read a message that will change his or her live for ever. Are you sure you are really saved? Think about it.
Jesus loves you and I do too.
