ARE YOU SURE YOU ARE REALLY SAVED?

When people are asked this kind of question, "Are you sure you are really saved?" Most people become upset and get annoyed, whereas this is supposed to be an introspective question, a question that will make all believers to examine themselves to see what they are actually doing. Since salvation is something that happens inside of you, and people cannot just tell when you are saved, it is necessary to check what you are doing most of the time as a child of God, because what you do is a clear indication of what is inside of you.

One of the easiest EVIDENCE of your salvation is, "Telling other people about the goodness of the Lord Jesus Christ and his saving power." Yes, once you touch a hot iron, it must burn your hand, thus you will know that the iron is hot. Somebody who had been saved cannot just keep it within him or herself. As soon as Jesus called Phillip and saved him, the Bible says in John 1:45, "Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph." And when Jesus met with the woman of Samaria at the well, we see in John 4:28-29 that, "The woman then left her water pot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men, Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did."

I know many people might not understand this, but when you are really saved, you will certainly have the urge to tell others about the goodness of the Lord Jesus. Sure, you have found a good thing, and you'll like others to experience the same good thing you have found. That is why Jesus gave us the Great Commission in Matthew 28:18-20, "Go ye therefore into all nations, Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen." And he also said in Mark 16:15, "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.Certainly, Jesus did not call closet Christians, those who will remain in their closets all the time without saying anything. Yes, he saved you, so that through you, he could save others.
If you are thinking of how to start sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, You can start from here.

One good thing the Lord is doing now is to give his people several opportunities to be able to do his will. And that is why he brought you into this group. He knows that many people will find it difficult to go out as he said, but at least, they can put their fingers on the keyboard of their computers. So now, you as a believer cannot have any more excuse not to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Remember, Jesus said in Matthew 7:21, "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven." Certainly, Jesus is coming back very soon, and when he comes, you cannot tell him you were very busy, that's why you did not share his word. You can start today by inviting people into this group. Who knows whether someone whom you invited will be the one who will hear or read a message that will change his or her live for ever. Are you sure you are really saved? Think about it.
Jesus loves you and I do too.

JESUS IS STILL SEEKING FOR PEOPLE

Do you know that Jesus is still seeking for people today? You may even ask, why are there so many Gospel messages all over the place now especially on facebook.? And the reason is very simple. The Bible says in Luke 19:10, "For the son of man is come, to seek and to save that which was lost." Please note, The word 'SEEK' here means , 'TO LOOK FOR.' Yes, and ever ...
since he came, he has been looking for the lost even till now.

But how does he look for lost today? Jesus is omniscient, he knows everything, and HE KNOWS THAT MANY OF YOU WHO HAVE NOT BELIEVED CANNOT GO TO CHURCH, SO THAT YOU CAN HEAR THE MESSAGE OF SALVATION FOR YOU TO BE SAVED. Therefore, in addition to many other methods that he is using, he has come to you today through facebook, knowing fully well that he can also meet you here, since you use facebook almost all the time. What a loving Jesus, and he will do whatever it takes in other to reach you.

You may ask, why is he still seeking for the lost? Understand that the same God whom we are saying is good and loving, has also set aside a day in which he will judge the whole world in righteousness by this same Jesus, Acts 17:31, and that he is not willing that any should perish, 2Peter 3:9. Thus, if you hear his voice today, harden not you heart, Hebrews 3:15, consider changing for the better, because of a truth, Jesus is coming back, and this is very sure and certain.
Jesus loves you and I do too.

The Certainty of The Return of Jesus

A food for thought just for you at this End Time.
by Erebari Dan Naagbi, preparing the world for the Return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

"And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts" 2Peter 1:19

No automatic alt text available.
"And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven." Acts 1:10-11
Of all the biblical prophecies ever made, this is the most intriguing- something that creates curiosity or interest, yet it is the one that many people seem to overlook and does not even care about. And just as in my previous posts, in which we proved beyond reasonable doubt that what the whole world is celebrating now as Christmas and Easter are the direct fulfillment of  prophecies that were made at earlier times. And that when Jesus came, we also saw that whatever he said to the disciples also happened exactly as he said, we go further to  show more proofs that the return of the Lord Jesus Christ is very sure and certain.

These key prophecies were also given and fulfilled:
Psalm 2:7 - you are my Son, today I have begotten you - Matt. 3:17 - God the Father said this about Jesus the Son.
Isaiah 11:2 - the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him - Matt. 3:16-17 - the Spirit of God descended upon Jesus like a dove.
Psalm 30:3; 41:10, 118:17; Hos 6:2 - He will be raised to life on the third day - Matt. 28:6; Mark 16:6; Luke 24:34,46 - Jesus was raised to life on the third day.
Psalm 68:18 - He will ascend into heaven - Luke 24:51; John 20:17; Acts 1:9 - Jesus ascended into heaven.
Zechariah 13:7 "Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, against the man who is close to me!" declares the LORD Almighty. "Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered, and I will turn my hand against the little ones."
Matthew 26:31 Then Jesus told them, "This very night you will all fall away on account of me, for it is written: " `I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.'"
Matthew 26:56 But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled.
These words are the words that Jesus himself spake, and were also fulfilled.
Jesus said that peter will deny him 3 times.  Matthew 26 34-35
Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. Peter said unto him, Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples.
Fulfilled in Matthew 26:69-75 And after a while came unto him they that stood by, and said to Peter, Surely thou also art one of them; for thy speech bewrayeth thee. Then began he to curse and to swear, saying, I know not the man. And immediately the cock crew. And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly.

And this is the present point of focus. On the very day that he ascended up into heaven, we find this in Acts 1: 6-11, "When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?7And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. 8But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
9And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. 10And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 11Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven."

Isn't it wonderful that all these Messianic prophecies are fulfilled in Jesus:
  • Born in Bethlehem
  • Be from Nazareth
  • Come out of Egypt (as a young child)
  • Descended from Judah
  • Descended from Jesse
  • Descended from David
  • No bones broken
  • Betrayed by a friend
  • Betrayed for exactly 30 pieces of silver
  • 30 pieces of silver returned
  • 30 pieces used to buy the potter's field
  • Born of a virgin
  • Perform miracles
  • R E S U R R E C T I O N ! ! !
Now, the Bible says, and it is very evident that The Lord Jesus Christ came, finished the work for which He came, which was to die on the cross for the sin of the whole world so that he could save mankind, and that he has gone up to heaven. But before He left, He made another promise just like the other Biblical prophecies, for he said in John 14: 1-3 "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."

This is the blessed hope of all believers in the Lord Jesus Christ.
But because it has been a long time, and for over two thousand years ago that this promise was made, and nothing has happened, many people feel that The Lord's return is a joke. That is why they now do whatever evil they are doing, and even many Christians who once were very zealous for the work of God had backslid.den and gone back in the way of unbelievers to do whatever pleases them.

But Jesus warned in Luke 17:26-30, "And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. Yes, in those days, people were going about their normal businesses as it is today, and suddenly what God said he was going to do was done.
Presently, many people who were not Christians are becoming Christians because they saw there were so many statements that all of the statements couldn't just be coincidences.  This is particularly common with Jews who converted to Messianic Judaism, especially after comparing Isaiah Chapter 53 with the Gospels. Blessed be the name of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Now that you have known that He is coming, how are you preparing for it? Are you still doing whatever you want to do, or are you striving to do his will with the expectation of His return. Those who were Christians and had fallen away because the Lord tarries, would you repent and come back to Him now? And  those who had not given their lives to The Lord Jesus Christ, would you consider doing it now? The Bible says in 1John 3:3 that every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
May you be found worthy when He comes, IJN.

Beware, He is coming soon!

Now, Know ye therefore, that Jesus Christ is Lord.
Whether you choose to believe him or not, I and my family will continue to believe him.
Whether you choose to trust him or not, I and my family will continue to trust him. And,
Whether you choose to obey him or not, I and my family will continue to obey him.

You are blessed. Jesus loves you, and I do too.

Easter and The Return of The Lord Jesus

A food for thought just for you during this Easter.
by Erebari Dan Naagbi, preparing the world for the return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

No automatic alt text available.

At The FROG as the name signifies, we Fully Rely OGod Almighty for His sovereignty, faithfulness and promises which are ever sure. He is The Lord God supreme, our eternal creator. What He does He will say, and what He says He will do. And because of His unfeigned love towards us, He had also led us into more divine spiritual discoveries, so that we can align ourselves with His very own divine will.

Throughout the whole universe and at this time of the year, many people in one way or the other are celebrating what we know as Easter, which is the crucifixion, burial and resurrection of our Lord. But because their expectation has dwindled, and the focus shifted away from the basic necessity and the actual purpose which is the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, and fixed on the exchange of gifts as they celebrate each Easter, it is expedient that we examine the basic truth which many people had overlooked and abandoned over the years, by turning away from the fact to their various pernicious ways instead of purifying themselves and waiting earnestly for the sure return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

In the previous issue, we proved without reasonable doubt that Christmas that we all are celebrating now, is the direct fulfillment of what God had said in the past. Likewise, what we are now celebrating as Easter, is also the direct fulfillment of what God had said in time past. In this regard, I will therefore draw our attention to some of the key prophecies that were given and were also fulfilled.

The Prophet Isaiah said, "He was numbered with the transgressors. Isaiah 53:12
Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
Fulfilled in Mark 15:27-28 And with him they crucify two thieves; the one on his right hand, and the other on his left. And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And he was numbered with the transgressors.

Not one of his bone will be broken. Psalm 34:20
He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.
Fulfilled in John 19:32-33 Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs of the first, and of the other which was crucified with him. But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs:

These words are the ones that Jesus himself spake, and were also fulfilled.

Therefore, in the light of all these basic truths, it is expedient that as we celebrate this Easter, we should bear in mind that just as these ones were fulfilled, so also will the other ones be . These and many other evidences establish the fact that when God says a thing, He will certainly do it.
Now, the Bible says that The Lord Jesus Christ came, finished the work for which He came, which was to die on the cross for the sin of the whole world, and that he has gone up to heaven.

But because it had been a long time, and for over two thousand years ago that this promise was made, and nothing has happened, many people feel that The Lord's return is a joke. That is why they now do whatever evil they are doing, and even many Christians who once were very zealous for the work of God had backslid.den and gone back in the way of unbelievers to do whatever pleases them.

Now that you have known that He is coming, how are you preparing for it? Are you still doing whatever you want to do, or are you celebrating this Easter with the expectation of His return. Those who were Christians and had fallen away because the Lord tarries, would you repent and come back to Him now? And  those who had not given their lives to The Lord Jesus Christ, would you consider doing it now? The Bible says in 1 John 3:3 that every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
May you be found worthy when He comes in Jesus name.

Beware, He is coming soon!

Christmas and The Return of The Lord Jesus

A food for thought just for you on this Christmas.
by Erebari Dan Naagbi, preparing the world for the return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Welcome to my blog, The FROG
At the frog, as the name signifies, we Fully Rely On God, Almighty for His sovereignty, faithfulness and promises which are ever sure. He is The Lord God supreme, our eternal creator. What He does He will say, and what He says He will do.

At this end time, where many people's expectation has dwindled, and their focus shifted away from the basic necessity and the actual purpose for the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, and fixed on the exchange of gifts as they celebrate each Christmas, it is expedient that we examine the basic truth which many people had overlooked and abandoned, by turning away to their various pernicious ways instead of purifying themselves and waiting earnestly for the sure return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I would like to draw our attention to the fact that what we are celebrating now and every Christmas - the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ, is a direct fulfillment of several prophecies of the old testament made some thousands of years ago, and as we could see, the stories of the birth of Jesus links to both the past and the future, and the circumstances surrounding his birth show that He fulfilled the Old Testament prophecies of the Messiah. Therefore, as we celebrate this Christmas, it is   necessary to reflect on these things, so we could be fully aware of the certainty of the return of the Lord Jesus Christ and prepare for it.

Among many other things, these were some of the various prophecies that were made concerning him and were also fulfilled beyond every reasonable doubt.

He will be born of a virgin Isaiah 7:14
Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign: Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Fulfilled in Matthew 1:22-23 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

He was born in Bethlehem Micah 5:2
But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.
Fulfilled in Matthew 2:5-6 They told him, "In Bethlehem of Judea; for so it has been written by the prophet: And you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for from you shall come a ruler who is to shepherd my people Israel

He was called out of Egypt Hosea 11:1
When Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I called my son.
Fulfilled in Matthew 2:14-15 When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt: and remained there until the death of Herod. This was to fulfill what had been spoken by the Lord through the prophet, "Out of Egypt I have called my son."

These and many other evidences establish the fact that when God says a thing, he will certainly do it.
Now, the Bible says that The Lord Jesus Christ came, finished the work for which He came, which was to die on the cross for the sins of the whole world, as in John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life, and that he has gone up to heaven. But before He left, He made another promise just like the other Biblical prophecies when he said in John 14: 1-3  Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

This is the blessed hope of all believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. But because it has been a long time, and for over two thousand years ago that this promise was made, and nothing has happened, many people feel that The Lord's return is a joke. That is why they now do whatever evil they are doing, and even many Christians who once were very fervent for the work of God had backslid.den and gone back in the way of unbelievers to do whatever pleases them.

Now that you have known that He is coming, how are you preparing for it? Are you still doing whatever you want to do, or are you celebrating this Christmas with the expectation of His return. May you choose rightly today.

Beware, He is coming soon! Watch out for the second part of this message,
"Easter and the Return of the Lord Jesus Christ."
