1Peter 5:8 says, Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.
So, why do you think he is going around seeking or looking for someone to devour whereas there are many believers everywhere?
Now, listen carefully, the devil knows very well that he cannot do anything to any believer who is faithful and remains in God's will, but he can only touch a person who falls out of God's will. So, the people he's looking for are those believers who are inconsistent, falls out of God's will, easily fluctuates due to their situations, and believers who still want to commit hidden sins. He is looking for such people because when somebody becomes unfaithful to God, commits secret or open sins and falls out of God's will, he gives room to the devil to come in and destroy him.
Therefore, the Bible warns to be sober, be vigilant, and remain faithful, because as long as you are faithful to God, you are a "NO GO AREA" for the devil, and he can only get to you by permission from God your Father.
May God help you to continue to be faithful, so that the devil will not find any loophole to come in and devour you in Jesus name.
