Have you ever wondered why there are so many problems in marriages, relationships, or even churches? Most people might not know it, however, the majority of those problems come from the way people in the relationship talk to each other.
Proverbs 15:1 says,A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. Sure, most of the time, what you are saying is not really bad at all, but the way you say it may either make people want to appreciate you, or make somebody want to slap you. That's why Ephesians 4:29 says, Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. To help you better understand this, New Living Translation Bible says, Don't use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them.
Therefore, it is very important to mind the way we talk, and may God help each and everyone of you not to run your mouth like tap water, so that your relationships may be in peace and not in pieces, in the most precious name of Jesus Christ. Jesus loves you and I do too.
