WORRYING, IS A SIGN THAT YOU HAVE NOT KNOWN GOD

Worrying is a sign that you have NOT known GOD. I know this sounds strange, because I've heard even some preachers say that it's okay to worry since we are still human, and when you hear a statement like this, you'll quickly ask, what do you mean? So, you mean that a believer cannot worry???? And I am saying emphatically: YES, a real child of God who truly know whom God is, will no longer worry.

Certainly, but wait a minute, if you truly know that God is all powerful, and you are saying that, you know that nothing is too difficult for God, and you are telling me that according to Matthew 19:26, With God, all things are possible, and you say you know all these, why then should you worry?

Sure, as a child of God, I have worried about this, and about that, and have worried virtually over everything, until the day that the Holy Spirit of God had to open my eyes into this basic truth, and since then, my life have changed for the better.

Therefore, as you go to worship God today, go with a fresh understanding of whom God is, and instead of worrying, give him the best worship, because the God who I have known is the only UNCHANGEABLE CHANGER, who can change all your situations for the better.

May God grant you this fresh understanding about himself, so you could give him the best praise as you worship him today in Jesus name. You are blessed. Have a wonderful & worry-free Sunday. Jesus loves you and I do too.

MARRIAGE HARD TIMES

Will there ever be any more happy marriage here on earth? Why is there so much problems in marriages, and why are there so many divorces even among ministers of God?
These are questions that have given me thought, and I've taken some times to find out why there are problems in most marriages.

I have discovered that problems exist and persist in marriages, and even divorce occur because the Spirit of God is not in that marriage. It doesn't matter if a person is able to preach or perform miracles and heaven come down, there might be problem in a marriage, but if it leads to divorce, then it is certain that the Spirit of God has left that marriage. 2 Corinthians 3:17 says, Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. Yes, where the Spirit of God is, problems will be resolved, and happiness will be restored.

So, allow Jesus whom you claim to know to take the lead, try to invite the Spirit of God into your marriage, and you'll have a happy marital life in Jesus name. You are blessed. Jesus loves you and I do too.

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE FOLDED NAPKIN

Please learn this fact as you prepare for the second coming of Jesus.
I learned this in church today!! I did not know about the napkin!
INTERESTING
Why did Jesus fold the linen burial cloth after His resurrection? I never noticed this....
The Gospel of John (20:7) tells us that the napkin, which was placed over the face of Jesus, was not just thrown aside like the grave clothes. The Bible takes an entire verse to tell us that the napkin was neatly folded, and was placed separate from the grave clothes.
Early Sunday morning, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb and found that the stone had been rolled away from the entrance. She ran and found Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved. She said, 'They have taken the Lord's body out of the tomb, and I don't know where they have put him!' Peter and the other disciple ran to the tomb to see.. The other disciple outran Peter and got there first. He stooped and looked in and saw the linen cloth lying there, but he didn't go in.
Then Simon Peter arrived and went inside. He also noticed the linen wrappings lying there, while the cloth that had covered Jesus' head was folded up and lying to the side.
Was that important? Absolutely!
Is it really significant? Yes!
In order to understand the significance of the folded napkin, you have to understand a little bit about Hebrew tradition of that day. The folded napkin had to do with the Master and Servant, and every Jewish boy knew this tradition.
When the servant set the dinner table for the master, he made sure that it was exactly the way the master wanted it..
The table was furnished perfectly, and then the servant would wait, just out of sight, until the master had finished eating, and the servant would not dare touch that table, until the master was finished. Now, if the master were done eating, he would rise from the table, wipe his fingers, his mouth, and clean his beard, and would wad up that napkin and toss it onto the table.
The servant would then know to clear the table. For in those days, the wadded napkin meant, 'I'm done'.
But if the master got up from the table, and folded his napkin, and laid it beside his plate, the servant would not dare touch the table,
because........... The folded napkin meant,
'I'm coming back!'
HE'S COMING BACK!!!!

THE COBWEB CHURCH

The reason many churches are not growing is because of disobedience to the commands of our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus did not tell all the world to go into the church and hear the Gospel, but he told the church to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15.

However, what most of the churches are doing today is that, just as the spider builds its cobweb, and sits in it, expecting preys to be trapped in it so that it could feed on them, so also instead of going out as commanded by the Lord Jesus, most of the churches spent a lot of money building up gigantic buildings, and sit in them, hoping that sinners will just walk in and be converted.

May God help all believers to understand that we don't just need to sit in our churches, hoping that sinners will come in and be saved, but we have to go out into all the world, and take the Gospel to the sinners so that they could hear it and be saved in Jesus name. You are blessed. Jesus loves you and I do too.

THE CROSS IS NOT AN OLD STORY AT EASTER

Are you still having hard time believing everything about JESUS and the Cross? Jesus did several things, and went to the cross just as was written concerning him, and people were eye witnesses to those things just as we are witnessing all the things happening these days.

Now, those who were eye witnesses to the cross has this to say in John 20:31, But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

So, you who have not believed, what are you waiting for? And you who have believed and go to church, but still hiding some sin, why don't you make some effort to change for the better?

Thus, I want you and everyone to understand that the story of the cross is not an old story of the past, but it's as current as any other thing of the current affairs. Therefore, accept Jesus today, repent now and amend your ways because like he said, he is coming back. May God help you to be kingdom ready in Jesus name. Now, if you know that Jesus went to the cross for you, honour him by commenting "Thank you Jesus." You are blessed. Jesus loves you and I do too.

THE TRIUMPHANT ENTRY OF JESUS

As Jesus enters into Jerusalem just one week before he goes to the cross to fulfil the purpose for which he came, we see that people began to put down their best clothes for him to walk on, and even those who did not have any cloth also did something by putting down palm leaves for him to walk on, and they all cried out and said, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord. John 12:12-15.

So, beginning this week, what will you put down for Jesus? If know that Jesus is you King, you can put down some of your time for him, as you begin to invite and add people to this group, so that they could hear from Jesus and turn their lives back to him. Yes, Jesus is the King of kings and Lord of lords. Glory to his dear name.

May God richly bless you as you find time to do God's work beginning now in Jesus name. You are so much blessed. Jesus loves you and I do too.
